Vein Finder (Biomedical Technology Start-up)

• Co-founded a start-up focusing on vein visualization technology aiming to create a robust and versatile solution for intravenous access issues in healthcare settings, securing 10,000 CAD seed capital through the IEI fund and M2M germinator program.
• Conducted extensive market analysis and functional decomposition of existing Near IR-operated vein finders to identify gaps and potential areas for innovation.
• Incorporated user feedback to design novel vein-finder prototypes using Solidworks, considering factors like depth perception and portability.

MRHS (Mobile Rainwater Harvesting System)

• Secured 2nd Place in a global hackathon focused on UN Sustainable Development Goals, showcasing a mobile rainwater harvesting system.
• Developed the system's rain catchment surface and filtration apparatus, optimizing rainwater purification methods based on performance and sustainability parameters.
• Conducted in-depth market research, solution analysis, and risk assessment to ensure the system's economic, environmental, and societal impact was justified and future-proofed.
  

Operation Plow

• Achieved 1st Place in the Junior Design category at the Western Engineering Competition 2022.
• Designed an innovative snow clearance attachment for wheelchairs to aid users in traversing snow-covered sidewalks and curbs independently.
• Implemented engineering mechanics principles and SOLIDWORKS modeling to integrate a height-adjustable V-shaped plough and a stable lifting mechanism, reducing strain on users' arms and enhancing usability during snow clearing activities.
