• Will begin working in the Britt Lab (PI: Dr. Jonathan Britt) at McGill University. Assisting doctoral student Niharika Dighe conduct her research in studying the role of projections from the prelimbic cortex to the dorsomedial striatum in value-based flexible decision making. Responsibilities involve independently running daily behavioral experiments including training assays, prepare slides for microscopy and image the target area

December 2022-December 2024 - Psychosis-Risk Outcomes Network (PRONET), Dr. Jai Shah, Douglas Mental Health University Institute

• Participant in a 2-yearlong study as part of the healthy control group to help researchers collect and compare information from individuals who are considered at clinically high risk for possible development of psychosis and to help guide future treatments. Grasped a better understanding of lab techniques used such as electroencephalogram (EEG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), blood samples, and saliva samples. Volunteered numerous hours to this study in order to increase exposure to a research environment, further my understanding of how research projects are managed and help give back to science

September 2022 - Experiences in Close Relationships (SMRIL), Professor John Lydon, Mcgill University

• Completed online questionnaire and partook in virtual session to help researchers study the causal association between shared reality, uncertainty reduction, and meaning in life

September 2022 - Play the Pain, Mathieu Roy, McGill University

• Completed a series of questionnaires and played chess while receiving painful thermal stimuli Exposed to the technology used to conduct certain types of pain studies

September 2022 - Exploring the Link Between Decision Making and Gaze Behavior (DMAGB), McGill Intergroup Cognition Lab, Mcgill University

• Analyzed the facial expressions of people presented in images while having my eye movement tracked to help researchers study hypothetical decisions and how people evaluate others

• Read and analyzed several published research papers to broaden knowledge on the given research topic and subsequently highlight both positive and negative aspects of the research

• Obtained a grade over than 90% in all High School and CEGEP courses

2016 - Sun Youth Organization

• Worked in a fast-paced environment. Maintained an organized work station to ensure completion of tasks including filling grocery bags and regulating the placement of products to be bagged. Gained organization, communication and time-management skills.

2016 - West Island Community Shares

• Assisted in sorting and filling boxes with food, clothing and toys for flood victims. Worked individually as well as in groups to complete responsibilities rapidly and adequately so as to ensure that families received the boxes of the necessary items.
