  • Will begin working in the Britt Lab (PI: Dr. Jonathan Britt) at McGill University. Assisting doctoral student Niharika Dighe conduct her research in studying the role of projections from the prelimbic cortex to the dorsomedial striatum in value-based flexible decision making. Responsibilities involve independently running daily behavioral experiments including training assays, prepare slides for microscopy and image the target area

Field Related Studies

December 2022-December 2024 - Psychosis-Risk Outcomes Network (PRONET), Dr. Jai Shah, Douglas Mental Health University Institute

  • Participant in a 2-yearlong study as part of the healthy control group to help researchers collect and compare information from individuals who are considered at clinically high risk for possible development of psychosis and to help guide future treatments. Grasped a better understanding of lab techniques used such as electroencephalogram (EEG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), blood samples, and saliva samples. Volunteered numerous hours to this study in order to increase exposure to a research environment, further my understanding of how research projects are managed and help give back to science

September 2022 - Experiences in Close Relationships (SMRIL), Professor John Lydon, Mcgill University

  • Completed online questionnaire and partook in virtual session to help researchers study the causal association between shared reality, uncertainty reduction, and meaning in life

2016 - West Island Community Shares

  • Assisted in sorting and filling boxes with food, clothing and toys for flood victims. Worked individually as well as in groups to complete responsibilities rapidly and adequately so as to ensure that families received the boxes of the necessary items.
