  • In addition I was responsible for the clinical supervision of staff of the crisis intervention and planning regarding all of the clients who were admitted for crisis stabilization
  • I was responsible for providing a positive, healthy work environment for the 35 team members
  • In order to achieve this it was important to build a cohesive team and provide a comprehensive vision so that the services would be effective and continue to grow
  • During my time in this position I was involved in the expansion of services from an eight bed male only unit to a 14 bed co-ed unit
  • We also had an active ‘drop-in’ component for clients requiring intensive support services
  • I was also responsible for giving presentations regarding our services to other agencies and a variety of referral services
  • I reported directly to the Program Manager of Crisis Services and was highly involved in developing and implementing policies and procedures and training staff
