Experienced in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering, I hold a B.Tech. degree from Punjab Technical University, India (2013) and recently completed my post baccalaureate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada (2022). Since joining the Manitoba Hydro International Engineering team in April 2022, I have actively participated in power system modeling tasks using PSCAD/EMTDC and PSS/E. My expertise lies in contingency analysis (steady state), PSCAD model development, and PSCAD simulation benchmark studies. Additionally, I excel in preparing detailed electrical engineering designs, procurement documentation, technical proposal writing, technical bid document evaluation, and serving as a liaison between suppliers and clients. Proficient in software tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC, and Microsoft Project.

The Knowledge gained was used in Performing Arc-Flash Hazard Calculations for distribution and transmission level stations., Development of PSCAD operational cases for system impact studies for HVDC and renewable connections for various MHI clients – Developed the network model and validated the model response, comparing results with expected response.
