- Process and refill prescriptions by addressing customer inquiries, communicating with healthcare providers for refill authorizations, and ensuring timely access to medications.
- Conduct inventory management tasks, including counts, expiry checks, restocking, and placing orders, maintaining optimal inventory levels and reducing waste.
- Handle third-party insurance billing** and resolve technical issues by coordinating with Kroll support to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
- Document pharmacy operations, including controlled substances, inventory levels, billing records, and patient profiles, ensuring accurate and compliant records.
- Monitor and record fridge temperatures daily to ensure proper storage of medications and compliance with safety standards.
- Answer phone calls from patients, insurance companies, and other pharmacies, addressing inquiries, providing third-party information, and resolving issues to ensure efficient operations and high levels of patient satisfaction.
