I am from Pemberton and began working at the Ministry of Children and Family Development in 2018 when I transferred from Ashcroft to move home.
I have experience working within the Stl'atl'imc communities of Lil'wat, N'Quatqua, Samahquam, Skatin, and Tipella. I consider myself to be continuous on my journey of cultural awareness and am self aware of the daily impacts I potentially impose on Indigenous people within in my professional role.
Advocacy and client centered approaches lead my practice with a strong belief in social justice and equity.

Child Protection Worker

- Assessing child protection reports as received under the Child, Family and Community Services Act - responding with Family Development Response or Investigation
- Interviewing adults and children - step wise and investigative interviewing

- Consultation, planning and direction on all files with Team Leader, Practice Consultants, Directors of Practice, and Directors of Operations
- Maintained detailed documentation of all case activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintained client confidentiality by adhering to strict privacy policies and ethical guidelines at all times.
Truth and Reconciliation Discussion Group
