Responsible for managing the front office, including explaining treatment plans and payment processes, checking patients in and out, scheduling patients for future visits, answering phone calls, speaking to patients in Spanish or Farsi when necessary, handling and documenting payments, sending out prescriptions the doctor ordered, as well as lab orders.
Responsible for preparing rooms for surgeries, orthopedic visits, cleanings, and exams; sanitizing rooms; and performing patient X-rays and CT scans.

Summer Experiences
UCI Medacademy, 2024: Learned from numerous doctors about various fields and pathways in medicine. Performed hands-on medical procedures in workshops and simulations of medical resuscitation. Practiced standardized patient care interviews with volunteers. Researched and presented possible advocacy and leadership strategies to improve health of local communities.
Medical Terminology, 2023: Took online Ed2Go Irvine Valley College course on Medical Terminology. Learned the functions and connections of the body's systems and how to identify diagnoses, procedures, and treatments common to each body system. Defined the roots, prefixes, and suffixes found in many medical terms, and practiced using terminology commonly used in medical offices/hospitals.
Tutor, 2024: Tutored one-on-one in three-hour sessions weekly for math to instruct my tutee on their lessons, guiding them through obstacles encountered in homework, test preparation/scheduling, coaching them in key concepts to build a strong foundation, and creating unique questions for more practice to overall enhance their skills.
Community Service
UHS Peer Tutoring Club, 9th-12th grade: Tutor, 9-10th, Co-President, 11th, President, 12th, Lead the club in all aspects: tutor after school, assign and schedule tutors to tutees, handle official club business, fill out club maintenance papers, host club meetings, brainstorming sessions, tutor bonding events for our tutors. Establish new systems like tutoring sessions for athletes, SAT/ACT prep, and AP Classes.
Amati Strings LLC, 9th-12th grade: Violinist, Played in an orchestra; spent 2-4 hours weekly preparing for concerts at various community events, i.e. children's blind centers, churches, hospitals, senior centers, and public venues including Knotts Berry Farm and the Bower's Museum.
