My step-mother and I go to the cat rescue every other saturday doing either afternoon or night 2hr shifts. Because the shifts are 2hrs we are too use 1hr for chores then the 2nd hour for socializing with the cats .What we do there is feed the cats, clean litter boxes, sweep + mop floors, put away dishes (cat bowls) after being cleaned, fill dishwasher, close windows to the Cattios (patios for the cats),refill food or water (if needed), refill litter boxes (if needed), and then we are too socialize with the cats (especially the kittens) after all the chores are finished.
