1. Lead and enhance the maturity and effectiveness of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role within FCC by establishing clear responsibilities, fostering a culture of reliability, and implementing robust processes that align with organizational objectives:

• Introduce Chaos engineering by performing weekly triage testing and monthly mini DR exercises
• Author Runbooks and assign checklists to different team members
• Leverage AWS FIS service to test system's fault tolerance
• Lead quarterly HA and System Rebuild DR exercises

2. Review existing processes and identify gaps and weaknesses:

• Design and Architect solutions
• Build POC and assign tasks to developers to build IaC
• Create Test scenarios to validate the reliability of different solutions and ensure it's integrated in DR exercises

3. Investigate/Look into different monitoring solutions based on business needs identified by certain metrics, budget and technology availability. This is done through:

• Building solutions in house
• Meeting with vendors and determining the fit of different solutions

• Enhanced and customized the team's use for Dynatrace by integrations with external tools such as AWS canaries
• Took charge of automating monthly updates on Dynatrace OneAgents and creating the necessary documentations and change requests
• Built, maintained, and leveraged various Jenkins Jobs to automate code package deployments as well as builds
• Leveraged many new automation AWS services to deliver many tools that drastically cut down deployments timeline (In one case it was cut down from 2 hours to 25 minutes)

• Collaborated with developers, analysts, and project managers to expedite incident resolutions.
• Performed software application and disaster recovery testing to guarantee business readiness following failovers.
• Provided 24/7 support for web- and client-based applications, file and data feed, and batch processes to prevent impact on the business.
• Adopted Dynatrace as an APM and configured all monitoring, alerting and other tools integrations such as Pager Duty
• Automated maintenance tasks via API calls using swagger platform
• Built a script using PowerShell to automate a large monthly files update job

• Assist ThoughtFarmer clients with installing and upgrading their ThoughtFarmer intranet, answering technical questions, and diagnosing and troubleshooting client issues
• Assist clients with their network and server configurations, to ensure reliability and performance
• Participate in, and assist with, ThoughtFarmer training, sales, and marketing activities
• Perform occasional ThoughtFarmer Cloud server updates and regular maintenance work including but not limited to managing IIS sites and External DNS as well as investigating Active Directory issues
