My responsibilities as a leader of our local co-op encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at providing enriching experiences and meaningful interactions for the children.

• Planned and organized engaging activities that catered to up to 25 children's interests and abilities

• Collaborated with other volunteers to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive approach to running co-ops.

My role at the breakfast club was practical—preparing and serving delicious breakfast for approximately 60 students of Seaview Community School—and fostering connections and community-building.

As the cooking class teacher, I taught the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits. I incorporated lessons on balanced meals and ingredient choices into my classes of up to 15 students. I encouraged children to explore a variety of flavours and cuisines, as well as cooking techniques, to broaden children's palates and expand their culinary horizons.
