Supports the delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance.
- Conducts technical assessment and analysis of energy and demand savings for lighting, HVAC, compressed air systems, BAS, and other energy conservation measures.
- Calculated energy and demand savings for large custom projects using metered/utility data and applying standard engineering principles and M&V guidelines.
- Actively prepares detailed technical reports to summarize the evaluation of equipment installation and to provide proof of analysis and compliance with program standards.
- Regularly conducts peer-reviews and provides constructive feedback to fellow colleagues to ensure high quality of work.
- Engages with customers on a professional level to support them in project decision-making and informs them about utility updates and program rules while recommending effective solutions for high energy savings (non-technical communication).
- Designs and builds prescriptive and custom energy efficient measures for residential and commercial customers using utilities' technical reference manuals.
- Maintains a portfolio of utility clients by managing any updates, tickets, product reviews of their existing energy efficiency programs.
