Volunteering at “Happy Pony House Daycare” in West Vancouver has allowed me to continue
working with children in my local community. I spent two days every week assisting daycare
staff with care for children aged 0-5 by engaging them in play, helping with feeding, facilitating art activities, and reading books to them. I have developed my patience and empathy in working with young children in this care setting.
I have been an active member of the Association for Protection of Child Laborers, a NGO in Tehran that advocates against child labour I have raised funds and awareness through my school community in Iran, employing creative fundraising such as bake sales, photo booths, and traditional foods I had the idea to gather profit from our school's New years sale, I pitched the idea to my school’s administration and managed
all its aspects including buying and packaging the produce we were selling, recruiting and assigning volunteers, being present during every hour, and generating awareness of the Volunteer-Association for protection of child laborers I have also volunteered to spend time with children in a safe house outside Tehran, where I assisted in delivering educational and social programming to the marginalized youth
