I believe my best qualities to be organization and my willingness to learn. As a full-time student I have been heavily involved in my local hockey team and association and was involved in a school paper. Throughout my educational career I have learned to balance many commitments and have learned a lot about prioritizing, scheduling and problem solving.
As a junior editor for my Cegep's only English news source, I edited and discussed with the writers in order to produce the best possible content.
Working for a professional contractor, I had the responsibility of making his job as easy as possible. Organizing tools, cleaning up, brainstorming ideas when problems arose.
My goal was to provide a safe environment for the young children participating in the tournament that my association was hosting.
- Organization of documents
- Scheduling and planning
- Teamwork and communication with peers
Throughout my career as a somewhat competitive hockey player, I have learned a lot about leadership, and being part of a team. I believe that my experience in this sport has given me a lot, notably I have learned how to step up when I was needed and how to support others when they needed me, always in the best interest of the team.
