• The Seeking Help Project is a fully registered national nonprofit dedicated to assisting front line service providers with mental health and/or addiction issues
• Our clients are nurses, social workers, first responders and other community heroes
• I created this project in 2015 to address the gaps in services for people struggling with mental health in the workplace using my own struggles as a basis

• Responsible for assisting callers on a city wide hotline book their COVID19 vaccines, directing people who require medical assistance to Public Health and assisting seniors who are unable to navigate the internet get access to the vaccines
• This was a short term contract position during the COVID crisis

• Responsible for the management and operation of the MSM program within Sudbury, Manitoulin and Espanola as well as representing Northern Ontario on the Gay Men’s Sexual Health Alliance, a provincial strategy of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
• Performed community based outreach in bars and post-secondary schools as well as liaison with community partners in order to deliver a comprehensive sexual health and education program

• PASAN is a community based, non-profit AIDS Service Organization (ASO) which strives to provide community development, education and support to prisoners and ex-prisoners in Ontario on HIV/AIDS, Hep C and other harm reduction issues
• As a member of the board I work with other members to ensure clear strategic planning for the agency, provide oversight to the Executive Director and maintain the agencies financial stability

• Excelled at developing strategic opportunities and partnerships with agencies and community groups to promote the health of at-risk and HIV positive youth in the Durham Region
• Participated in relevant coalitions and networks serving LGTBQ, incarcerated and injection drug using youth
• Implemented and maintained ten extremely successful programs with various community partners serving high risk youth across the region
• Trained, supervised and coached peer youth volunteers who delivered street level outreach to at-risk youth

• Elected by the general membership for a two year term in June2011 and re-elected for a second term in2013
• As a member of the board I acted as a guiding mind to the agency dealing with budgetary and policy matters as well as provided oversight to the Executive Director
• While on the board I served on the Personnel Committee and chaired the Governance committee

• The Positive Youth Outreach Program of the AIDS Committee of Toronto strives to create a safe space for HIV positive youth by HIV positive youth to share, support one another and discuss issues of concerns in their community
• As a member of the advisory group it was our responsibility to hear the concerns and support the needs of the youth in the program and liaison with upper management of the agency to ensure that those concerns were being considered

• The CHIME program is a collaborative study between the people with AIDS Foundation (PWA) and the University of Toronto’s faculty of medicine teaching second year medical students rapid HIV testing with an emphasis on pre and post counseling
• As a standardized patient it was my role to teach students the correct ways of performing a Point of Care (P.O.C.) HIV test and evaluate their verbal responses and body language to help better prepare them for testing and treating actual patients
