Lead Hand Carpenter, business owner. I worked as both an employee and a contractor for Hindlet Homes and Construction while also running my own renovation business. My responsibilities included budgeting, estimating, invoicing, and accomplishing high-level work in a timely manner.

Lead hand, or second in command for High performance homes. Responsible for achieving high energy efficiency through very particular details. Using state-of-the-art design techniques and building products, while simultaneously managing a team of co-workers and subtrades, we worked to build homes as close to net-zero as possible.

Built custom homes in Fernie. Had direct contact with clients, supervisors, and subtrades. Duties included ensuring quality of work for a team of four carpenters and labourers. Responsible budgeting of time and resources.
