Work History

Team Member

University Of Toronto, UTAT-Space Systems, ADCS
09.2023 - Current

Made calculations and simulations for the Helmholtz Coil.

 Proposed some design optimizations.

 Analyzed datasheets and manual given by Tensertech .
 Planning out commands and how to interface with ADCS Module to control sensors and actuators. Module contains user interface and Finite State machines (using microcontroller to act as OBC) that would be attached to our CubeSat (FINCH).

Scheduling course of project.

Team Member

University Of Toronto, ECE243
03.2024 - 04.2024

 Build a plant monitoring system using Nios-2 processor in a team of 2.

 Collected and organized ideas using mind maps.
 Planned work by breaking down problem into simpler component (reading sensor data) then built features on it one by one (adding water pump, keyboard, VGA) .
 Scheduled work to be completed in 3 weeks.
 Proposed design optimizations by enabling interrupts instead of polling.
 Worked on improvisations and rendered images onto VGA using double buffering.

 Added additional Audio component to sound alarm.

Team Member

University Of Toronto, ECE295
01.2024 - 04.2024

Built a receiver end of a radio in a group of 3.

 Decided upon the architecture of circuit (based on Design for
functionality, manufacturability and assembly principle)
 Calculated component values for Bandpass filter, mixer and amplifier.
 Simulated components on Multisim to check if circuit works.
 Made Printed Circuit Board on Altium .
 Planned out testing procedure and debugged errors in hardware.

 Resolved the errors by cutting copper traces and fly-wired wrongly connected components.

Achieved unprecedented number of radio signals being picked up from around globe (Spain, Costa Rica, Israel etc).

Team Member

University Of Toronto, UTRA-Robotics Association
10.2023 - 04.2024

 Build Sumo robot- a competition where bots try to push the other bots out of the ring in a team of 3.

 Organized and distributed tasks among team members
 Coordinated setback due to two members leaving team by
modifying design and redistribution of tasks.
 Assembled electronic components and worked on Arduino code.
 Came up with improvisation idea of using a rabbit skin to cover our bot to distort reading ultrasonic sensor of other bots that is used to detect our bot.

 Wrote entire strategy code and tested it.

Team Member

University Of Toronto, ECE241
11.2023 - 11.2023

 Built Tetris in Verilog for De1-SoC board.

 Planned on work distribution and scheduled workloads.
 Created Verilog code for connecting keyboard (implemented own controller)
 Created Verilog code for VGA display of game and improvised it by using double buffering.

Other Experiences

  • Built Tetris in Verilog, UofT, 10/2023-11/2023
  • Creating a new club in collab with industrial engineering students to help spread knowledge on AI and impacts on Supply Chain Management where my role is to coordinate AI learning sessions.
  • Bulit a satellite antenna ground station for my school
  • Blogging: Accumulated information from many sources on many topics in STEM, integrated them with my opinions and posted the contents for readers in hopes of instigating passion for the subject-2021.
  • Group leader of a research project on technology and diabetes: Studied patterns in Diabetes across the country then analysed the existing solution proposed and its impacts. Studied methods implemented in other countries to reduce and control their diabetic population and suggested points from that Presented new solutions and conducted school level testing to ensure that they work.
  • Obtained certification for remote sensing and GIS for Environmental Studies, ISRO, 2021
  • Represented many countries in advocating for environment protection and welfare, and proposed solutions to overcome challenges in Model United Nations, 2019-2020

Awards

  • Dean's List- Honours, 2023
  • Subject topper in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in high school, 2019-2021
