• Worked as a Senior IT Consultant at TMMC for over 12 years in the external logistics team, where I was responsible for managing two Tier 1 applications. TMMC employs over 8,500 people and produces more than 2,200 cars daily, generating over $110 million in daily revenue. With such a high-output operation, even one hour of downtime can result in losses exceeding $3 million
• Each car requires approximately 2,400 parts. TMMC utilizes a Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory system, ensuring parts arrive precisely as they are needed during the assembly process. The assembly line depends on the timely availability of every single part and the presence of skilled team members; even a single missing part or absent team member with specialized skills can halt production. As the main technical lead, I was responsible for developing and supporting parts ordering, parts issues and investigation, cost approvals, and manpower Andon applications.
• Consistently exceeded my annual KPIs, successfully delivering 18 major projects, 87 Kaizens (small-scale improvements), and handling hundreds of problem tickets (SLA: 30 days) and incidents (SLA: 8 hours). I achieved this by embracing Toyota's core values: Kaizen (continuous improvement), PokaYoke (proactive error prevention), Genchi Genbutsu (close collaboration with customers), Muda (elimination of waste), and Just-in-Time efficiency.
• In 2017, I taught a weekend course on Mobile App and Java development, covering AngularJS, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, Java, J2EE, Spring, and SQL. The course utilized environments such as Eclipse, Apache Tomcat, MySQL, and GitHub.
• Received "Customer 2011 Awards of Excellence" at Rogers in recognition of my efforts to go above and beyond to deliver a reliable, seamless and easy-to-use enterprise UI application that is used by Roger's call center representative. During peak hours, over 14000 concurrent users use this application. The UI application helps them handle their support calls.
• Developed currently in production telusmoblity.com's support section and TELUS's internal agent site portal using Documentum, Weblogic, IDOL and REST Services technologies.
• Developed the core components of EMC Documentum's most successful product content transformation services (CTS), which brought over $120 million revenue in the last 10 years. This product has been deployed at major Fortune 500 companies in multiple vertical industries: Pharmaceuticals (Pfizer), Media (Disney, BBC), Telecommunications (Rogers), Auto (GM, Ford), Finance (Bank of Canada, Citigroup) and Government (Tax court of Canada, Passport Canada, RCMP Public complaints)
• Received "Documentum Employee Award 2003" for my contributions in the development and release of Media Server, a product that integrated Bulldog's rich media technology with Documentum content server.
• Received "The Rookie of the Year - December 1999 Derivion" award for actively participating in planning, analysis, software design and development of the company's bill payment and presentment system. Implemented credit card validations in Java.
