- Took an active role in the creation of ShipDecision, a software designed to assist maritime enterprises in monitoring their fleet's activities during voyages. This comprehensive platform facilitated real-time updates on weather conditions, vessel advancements, and other valuable metrics. Throughout this engagement, I assumed the responsibilities of a full-stack developer, engaging with Java, MySQL and JavaScript technologies. A central hurdle in the project involved streamlining communication payloads to minimize their size, effectively reducing bandwidth consumption during sea voyages.
- Played a key role in the development of Estimage5, a software solution tailored for the car insurance sector. The primary objective of Estimage5 was to streamline the collaboration between Repairer Providers and Assessors within Insurance Companies. Throughout this project, I undertook the role of a full-stack developer, working extensively with Java, MySQL and Flex4 technologies. A notable challenge during the creation of Estimage5 was ensuring seamless compatibility with the previous iteration, Estimage4. It was essential to enable clients using Estimage4 to conduct business and maintain communication with clients utilizing Estimage5.
- Played a pivotal role in the inception of EiMotor, the successor to Estimage5, encompassing identical functionalities. The driving force behind the creation of EiMotor was the announcement of Adobe Flex's retirement, which prompted the need to transition the user interface of Estimage5 from Flex to AngularJS. Throughout this venture, I assumed the position of a backend developer, leveraging Java and MySQL as my primary tools. While my interaction with AngularJS was limited, I managed to grasp its fundamentals. A significant challenge during this endeavor was the design and implementation of personalized RESTful web services, facilitating effortless integration for insurers and suppliers to seamlessly connect with EiMotor.
- Played a proactive role in the development of Estimage Online, a specialized software solution designed to facilitate the communication between Repairers and EiMotor. In this initiative, I took on the dual responsibilities of a SCRUM Master and a backend developer. As the SCRUM Master, I oversaw the activities of the programming team, assigned tasks, and closely monitored progress in alignment with set targets. A significant part of my role involved collaborating with Product Owners to determine task prioritization within each Sprint and ensuring that the teams had all necessary resources to successfully complete the Sprint. As a backend developer, I primarily utilized Java, SpringBoot, MySQL, and Docker to contribute to the project's technical aspects.
- Played a significant role in the advancement of Estimage Property, an adaptable software solution streamlining the interaction and management of property claims among property insurers, suppliers, and clients. Within the context of Estimage Property's development, I assumed the position of a senior backend developer. The technologies employed are Java, RESTful web services, MySQL, and Docker. A central hurdle that surfaced during the creation of Estimage Property revolved around a highly constrained timeline stipulated by the client. Overcoming this challenge mandated a blend of efficient planning, resource allocation, and skillful execution to meet the demanding project schedule.
