 As chair, I lead a committee of representatives from various health, justice and social services agencies to find solutions to problems faced by those involved in the criminal justice system and having complex needs. This includes planning conferences and lunch and learn sessions to educate lawyers, police and front line workers as well as setting up initiatives and programs to allow for better access to supports and services to clients being released from custody.
