  • Currently working in the TRIPC unit, in the Hearings Division of the Intelligence and Investigations Operations Division (IIOD), Intelligence and Enforcement Branch - Greater Toronto Area Region (GTAR):
  • Responsible for preparing 10 or more files each week for refugee claimants’ upcoming appointments with the TRIPC unit through the following processes; verifying that the refugee claimants’ live in Ontario; printing the clients’ Basis of Claim (BOC) and their client application summary (immigration application) forms and compiling and scanning the interview notes, passport copies and other national forms of identifications into GCMS; confirm that the client’s background information and their education/personal history in GCMS are accurate and up to date; ensuring that information related to the client’s passport in GCMS is precise, is seized by our office and validate that the securities background of the clients has been received in GCMS
  • Files were prepared in advance and on time before the clients’ appointment and no complaints arose from Hearings Advisors (HA) about steps missed while files were being prepared
  • Actioned over 30 or more missing file requests from the TRIPC and the Refugee Protection Units (RPU) by utilizing technological devices such as the RFID gun and RFID tracker to locate the files
  • Refugee claimants had their appointments and their appointments for withdrawal of their refugee claims on their scheduled date and requests for certified true copies of their passport, national identifications, driver's license, etc
  • Were provided to them promptly upon visiting our office to request this
