Currently leading a systematic review on barriers and facilitators to the use of wearable technology in mental health. Supervised by Drs. Karisa Parkington and Venkat Bhat.

Assisted with Grade 10 Math, Grade 11 Functions and IB SL Math. Provided individualized tutoring sessions to students using tailored lesson plans and conducted regular assessments of student progress throughout the process.

Contacted scholars from around the world and conducted extensive oral interviews with distant relatives and community leaders in an effort to document the history of my family and the broader region we belong to. Currently synthesizing my research into a detailed genealogy.

Secured this position at a national youth mental health nonprofit. Played a key role in the planning and organizing of McMaster's annual Jack.org Local Summit. In-charge of meeting minutes, hosting formalities, contacting and keeping in touch with guest speakers and composing a visually appealing slideshow for the Summit.

Collaborated with a PhD student on an investigation into the neurotoxicity of iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) in a zebrafish model. Worked independently on a project involving the use of tools such as GenBank and MEGA X to construct a phylogenetic tree of the sodium-hydrogen exchanger (NHE) gene in crustaceans. Supervised by Dr. Raymond Kwong.

Initiated and organized a fundraiser to build a wheelchair ramp for and pave the perimeter of a neglected orphanage in Guyana, successfully raising over $6000. Key responsibilities included publicizing the fundraiser, coordinating fundraising efforts with the team, contacting donors and collecting donations and keeping in touch with the shelter throughout the process.
