Successfully marketed, convinced and helped customers sign-up for the Triangle MasterCard (credit card) and reach sales targets consistently. Here's how:

• Was confidently able to approach, pitch and build rapport with customers of all temperaments. Was able to motivate them to consider the purchase despite objections they may have had, by making sure they were aware of how our product would benefit them, and more importantly, by actively listening as opposed to focusing on making the sale.
• I learnt not to take rejections and criticism from customers personally. This helped me stay motivated throughout the shift and perform my duties effectively.
• My coworkers and I would discuss experiences and, in doing so, give each other tips on improving our performances. Additionally, this added to the bond we were able to build amongst ourselves in the workplace.

Performed paid photography for events, portraits and businesses in Canada, Saudi Arabia, and India.

• Negotiated my service fees with clients depending on their budget and length of contract.
• Researched market trends to boost customer satisfaction with service.

Working in the fast food industry taught me to be patient with customers, punctual with orders, and time management during rush hours. Here are some other learnings and contributions:

• Handled transactions on both cash and POS machines. Adjusted bills and refunded money to resolve customers' service or billing requests. Was tasked with totaling the day's net profit.
• Took special orders in person and over telephone.

Served as Sergeant at Arms at international speech competition at Toastmasters International speech competition.

• Kept facilities accessible, agendas and calendars organized.
• Worked successfully with diverse group of coworkers and demonstrated leadership to accomplish goals, train subordinates and address issues related to our products and services, and meet deadlines.
• It taught me to be a confident and passionate public speaker. I like to put the listener at peace when I speak which promotes engagement with my content.

Represented high school on invitation to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) headquarters, among 4 other students, after my presentation on the launch of GSLV Mk-III rocket was broadcasted on local television.

National 4th Place winner in India for InoVIT National Science competition.
