• Supervised the squadron Instructor Pilot Upgrade (IPUG) program, overseeing the training, standardization and qualifications of numerous instructor pilots, and flying many IPUG missions
• Coordinated the complete overhaul of the squadron training syllabus, the first of its kind in over a decade, including new missions, tactics, training plan and qualification standard, and aligning the squadron with current requirements of the fighter force
• Obtained A Category instructional rating
• Presented with the award for top instructor three times

• Supervised all student training on the Hawk aircraft, ensuring maximum training benefit for each course candidate and potential for success on follow-on fighter
• Supervised a highly dedicated cadre of instructor pilots
• Oversaw several Independent Review (IR) and Progress Review Board (PRB) processes
• Counseled students after poor performance
• Flew numerous training missions with fighter lead-in students

• Ensured the Fighter Pilot Course (FPC) was run in accordance with the qualification standard
• Supervised all training on the CF-18 Flight Instructor Course (FIC)
• Ensured instructor pilot standardization and qualifications
