Global Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring

• Enabling a smooth and strategic transition from legacy Anti-Money Laundering systems to a state-of-the-art ORACLE application, poised to elevate operational efficacy and ensure regulatory adherence with unparalleled precision and agility.
• Collaborating closely with source system subject matter experts to meticulously map data and establish seamless linkages across various customer and transaction monitoring systems, thereby fortifying the foundation for comprehensive and effective risk management strategies.

Regulatory Reporting

• Developed a robust target operating model for The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) examinations, empowering our team to proactively anticipate regulatory demands, compile thorough documentation, and adeptly present essential evidence, ensuring seamless and efficient compliance.
• Proactively prepare all audit evidence ahead of The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) review, ensuring comprehensive readiness and seamless compliance with regulatory standards
• Spearheaded the GSIB report submission process, meticulously addressing all requirements and furnishing comprehensive evidence to ensure full compliance with mandated reporting obligations.

Cloud Enablement Project

• Business Owner (BO) for the Cloud Enablement Project, closely coordinating with the Product Owner to provide a business lens and ensure each sprint delivers value.
• Engaging closely with Microsoft's engineering team to ensure Azure Purview aligns to and is compatible with the enterprise data and analytics governance structure.
• Actively collaborate with segments and drive buy-in through sharing sharing all agile stories and soliciting feedback to ensure all aspects of data governance are well thought-out.
• Developed the Product Roadmap showcasing the strategic direction of data access/governance within the program focusing on release goals, features to meet the release goals and measures of success.

Data Access Control Enablement

• Developed concrete options and proposals for a data access management tool, allowing for secure and safe access to data for all enterprise segments, working closely with a third-party vendor (Immuta).
• Presented data access proposals to the Steering Committee and engaged in a dialogue on both milestones achieved and issues and challenges to be addressed
• Provided strong leadership to enhance team productivity and morale.

• Lead and managed end-to-end delivery of the business banking project for all TDAF lines of business with a clear focus on strategic planning, schedule & scope management, change and issues management, client communication, and overall resourcing and financial management.
• Managed and coached a team of 3 independent contributors, focused on delivering the best technology solutions for TDAF.
• Instrumental in ensuring the inclusion of TDAF applications in the DataMart under the Electronic Document Presentment & Payment (EDPP) project; worked closely with the enterprise-wide team to deepen understanding of TDAF, highlight challenges, and propose solutions.
• Drove efforts to mitigate the regulatory risks around improper disclosure of account information; working on regulatory requirements for disclosure of correct account and contract information as part of the Amendment Agreement project.
• Worked closely and rapidly with the Data Life cycle management (DLM) team to ensure data governance was complete for the TDAF TS line of business; phase one was completed in record time.
• Engaged with multiple Audit groups including the OSFI, SOX and EY teams to ensure all the evidence requested was provided and reviewed in a timely fashion; fostered open communication with the audit teams to build a strong and seamless working relationship.
• Took on the Run the Bank (RTB) challenge to help maximize savings for CBDC from a TDAF TS perspective; continue to prepare financials for the team, creating monthly forecasts and updates to Book of Work (BOW).

• Managed all Identity and Access management applications including Digital Identity Access Management on Demand (DIAMOND); developed and implemented best practices, including dashboards to showcase productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Worked towards creating an application support model to help outline best practice for application support through the ITIL processes; oversaw detailed investigations of incidents to evaluate root causes and ensure implementation of targeted, value added and controlled remediation plans.
• Confirmed compliance with IT Disaster Recovery Plan and the department’s Business Recovery Plan.
• Provided guidance to auditors with the internal support process and helped assemble the appropriate evidence to provide to the internal and external auditors.
• Collaborated with stakeholders including, multiple lines of business, application owners, vendors, business owners, project owners and technical experts on all projects; established a strong and functional relationship with our key vendor, built around open communication with their executives and discussions on constant improvements with their staff.
