• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service at pharmacy drop-off and pick-up counters, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.
• Prescription Data Management: Accurately enter prescriptions and patient data into Kroll, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality.
• Clinical and Package Validation: Perform comprehensive clinical and package validation, along with final checks of prescriptions, to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Prescription Binning: Systematically bin verified prescriptions to streamline workflow and maintain organized pharmacy operations.
• Reporting Responsibilities: Prepare and submit essential reports, including AVI, IDSM, and Health Canada loss or theft reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy in documentation.
• Vaccine Administration: Administer vaccines in accordance with best practices and safety protocols, contributing to the promotion of community health.
• Medication Counseling: Provide professional counseling on prescription medications and OTC products, personalized to meet individual patient needs.
• Patient Inquiry Management: Address patient inquiries related to refills, insurance issues, and prescription status updates, delivering timely and informative responses.
• Continuity of Care: Implement necessary adaptations or extensions of prescriptions to ensure uninterrupted patient care and continuity of treatment.
• CACP/SMMA Follow-ups: Conduct CACP, SMMA and follow-up activities on eligible patients to optimize patient care plans.
• Prescription Delivery Management: Organize and prepare prescription deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to patients.
• Central Fill and Blister Pack Verification: Verify central fill prescriptions and blister packs for accuracy and completeness, ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards.
