Was also involved in the Ambatovy overhead crane operation training program as an on-site consultant. Lastly, was also responsible for the office side of the position organizng and prioritizing jobs, writing reports, spreadsheets, quotes, modification/repair estimates, ordering parts, ordering hoists, ordering cranes, etc.
Duties included performing overhead crane inspections, certifications, service work on all types and makes of overhead cranes and hoists throughout Southern Alberta and Southern BC.
Worked on an electrical cable pulling crew during the Shell Scotford Expansion Project before being offered a job with CRS Crane Systems.
Was responsible for maintenance, repairs and inspections for all of Propak's overhead cranes at their 404 Building. Also performed other aspects of maintenance and repairs to other types of equipment such as lathes, welding machines, etc.

Worked more in the manufacturing side of overhead cranes than service, although there was some service work involved. Was responsible for all electrical work for manufactured cranes and hoists (including layout and wiring of all electrical panels, all wiring of motors, all wiring of specialty devices, etc. Also did some overhead crane inspections and certifications.
