Protection and Control Engineer on Manitoba Hydro’s Keewatinohk Converter Station AC Switchyard

• P&C Lead for Indian Substation design team for 230kV AC switchyard, part of Keewatinohk Converter Station serving as the sending end for HVDC Bipole.
• Responsibilities inclusive of concept design of protection and control system and protection and control logic diagrams.
• Development of complete Protection & Control and Electrical Issued-for-Construction Drawings and Documents.
• Day to day coordination with other disciplines inclusive of interaction with Canadian discipline leads.

• Effort estimation and tender support, coordination with clients to
  provide proposal stage drawings.

• Preparation of Pre-feasibility reports, detailed project reports for
  hydro power projects including providing assistance to obtain
  clearances from Government authorities in environment, and
  techno-economic clearances.
