During this time, I teamed up with a carpenter who has over 10 years of experience, and over a period of 3 years, our 2-man crew fully framed and sided 5 single-family homes and 2 duplexes in Invermere, BC. Our builds also included full interior carpentry finishing, and outside stone veneers.

• Framing exterior and interior walls, floor and roof systems, layouts, and blueprint reading.
• Installing variations of siding materials, such as vinyl, cement-fiber boards, and metal.
• Finishing carpentry: installing doors, trims, and handrails.
• Masonry - work with a variety of stone and concrete products.

Part Time job - providing mechanical repairs and diagnostics in Private Automotive shop under Red Seal supervisor.

hands on experience including:

• Inspected vehicles for necessary repairs or preventive maintenance needs.
• Tested components and systems using infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
• Repaired faulty electrical wiring harnesses within automobile engines.
• Installed timing belts and drive chains in automobiles according to specifications.
• Repaired and replaced worn brake pads, wheel bearings, and other automotive parts.
• Performed scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups.
• Welded, soldered and fabricated parts to complete skilled services.

• Built and repaired various masonry structures, including chimneys, fireplaces, patios, retaining walls, featured walls, and all types of veneers.
• Conducted site inspections and quality checks to ensure the structural integrity of existing masonry.
• Mixed and applied mortar and concrete for construction and repair projects.
• Performed troubleshooting and repairs on concrete after the removal of formwork and shoring.

• Assisted in the completion of masonry tasks during my machine mechanic apprenticeship, developing foundational skills in stonemasonry.
• Performed stone cutting, shaping, and installation for various public and private infrastructure projects.

• Worked with natural granite blocks for large-scale construction projects, including water dams, and flood-resistant riverbanks.
