• Train, supervise and provide technical support to research assistants on the use of mobile android phones (using Open Data Kit ODK software) to conduct data collection by tracking and monitoring of the use of modern contraceptives, family planning services, Water, Sanitation, hygiene and Environment (WASH) through questionnaires and evaluations with participants, following up with either participants or community members as required.

• Coordinate the implementation of PMA 2020-NG monitoring and evaluation framework.

• Maintain an organized set of remote research activities, including digital voice recorders and interview guides.

• Monitor, review, analyze and validate qualitative and quantitative baseline and longitudinal survey data on State and Local Government level to identify barriers and interventions regarding contraceptive use, demand and supply. Which has led to implementation of policies and programs for improvement in Public health facilities.

• Promote community entry, provide relative information about family planning and use of modern contraceptive methods at local government level, community outreach, events, conferences and forums.

• Conduct stakeholder’s management meetings, critical review, report and policy submission and presentations to recommend policy options to the leadership of the Lagos State Ministry of Health and better understand the determinants and consequences of unique contraceptive use and patterns of use.

• Collaborating with Private and Non -Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on how to implement best practices and address socio-economic barriers in reproductive health.

• Delivering on capacity building activities by supporting programs major events, including direct training events (Advanced Trainings, Refresher Trainings, Refresher Workshops etc.) and any other delegated tasks by the State Coordinator.

Accomplishments


The PMA 2020 Nigeria Platform has help increase access to family planning services particularly at the grassroot level in order to improve maternal and child health, reduce poverty and implement policies like the free health care at all Primary Health Care in Lagos State.
