I was a server and a cook that was responsible for providing the dietary needs for 100 residents. This involved working with the dieticians to provide special diet needs such as texture, consistency and amount of food for the resident.
I had to prep and cook daily for all three meals as well as their evening snack carts.
I would receive and help unload weekly deliveries and would help maintain inventory.
I would follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and perform tasks accordingly.
As a server I would set up the dining room for all three meals. I would take the residents food orders and keep in mind any diet restrictions that they may have had.
I would do all of this with a smile and an open ear, this was their home after all.
