  • One of five LPN's awarded a temporary one year project pilot line in emergency to work alongside the RN's and ER physicians.
  • Used aseptic techniques to provide sterilized wound care, remove staples and stitches and apply dressings.
  • Supported physicians during examinations and scans to assist with diagnostic procedures.
  • Comforted and counseled patients and families throughout care process.
  • Offered immediate assistance in emergency and routine paging situations to evaluate needs and deliver care.
  • Safeguarded against the spread of germs by maintaining universal precautions.
