I bring extensive experience to this Nursing Unit Assistant position having worked on numerous Medical, Pediatric, Renal, Psychiatric and Surgical units at Kelowna General Hospital and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

I have expertise in performing clerical and administrative tasks on many units, each with its own unique "unit specific" of daily requirements fulfilling nursing unit duties and processing Physician orders. I am proficient in medical terminology and various computer programs. I have a strong sense of working together in a team environment. I possess a sharp eye for detail as well as superb telephone etiquette and first rate intrapersonal skills in my daily dealings with Nursing, Physicians and hospital staff, the members of the public and the patients.
