With over 30 years of professional experience, including my current role as an Education Assistant and Health and Safety Officer, I believe that my customer service skills, safety-first attitude, and hospitality make me an ideal candidate for this role. In my current role, I have honed my customer service skills and developed a safety-first attitude, which I believe are directly transferable to the responsibilities of a Flight Attendant.

As an Education Assistant, I have sharpened my customer service skills by constantly being attentive to the needs of each student. This experience has prepared me well for the demands of providing excellent customer service to passengers. I have developed the ability to be patient, empathetic, and responsible for various individual needs, and I am confident in my ability to apply these skills to create a positive experience for Air Canada passengers.

My role also involves effectively managing emergency situations. I am the first aid attendant and the Health and Safety Officer for the students and staff at our school. I have successfully managed several emergency situations, demonstrating my ability to stay calm under pressure and respond swiftly to any unforeseen circumstances. This skill will prove crucial in performing the safety procedures and protocols required of a Flight Attendant.

Additional Information

I can speak German, Spanish and Mandarin at a beginner level. I do find this helpful when we are travelling or I am at work, working with students or in another country whose first language may not be English.
