Accomplishments

I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Concentration in Music. I became a staff member with the Wikwemikong Board of Education and was teacher there for about 25 years. I was a classroom teacher there for about 13 years and instructed students from grade 4 - 7, then transferred to being the music teacher for another 12 years...teaching grades form K-8; over 400 students per week. I then moved to teach at the Lakeview school in M'Chigeeng for the last 5 years as a music teacher and as a classroom teacher. I also ran an extra-curricular program using classical guitars, where we won several Kiwanis Festivals in Sudbury. We also recorded several original songs and presented them on the local CBC radio station. We were heavily in demand in the community and in the Rainbow Board community musical events. On a personal level, I have worked on personal music compositions which I will be releasing for public consumption very soon. On the whole, I love teaching, especially music instruction and I would like to extend all my experience into further development such as you are offering.
