I worked on 3-5 home renovation projects at once as an apprentice, and I am trained in:

• Preparing cost estimates for labour and materials to help with planning.
• Building and installing cabinets, countertops, shelving, furniture, bathtubs, and doors to provide additional storage and working spaces.
• Treating timber, lumber and paneling in place for fastening or cutting. Fixing and painting damaged walls, fences, and outdoor storage shed.
• Ensuring smooth transition between pre-renovation condition and post-renovation upgrade by effectively managing the demolition process, debris removal and proper disposal.

I was recommended by my Mechanics, my Electricity and Magnetism, and my Calculus professors to provide tutoring help to first-year physics and math students.

• Served on school committee for STEM curriculum development.
• Implemented creative problem-solving exercises during each 1.5 hours drop-in tutoring sessions, enhancing critical thinking skills among students.
• Communicated weekly with my tutee and followed up with their academic performances.

I was given the choice between receiving a salary or having the hours counted towards the Student Involvement Recognition program, and I chose the latter.
