  • I was a part of a class research project that won my teacher, Mrs. Cynthia Bettio, the Governor Generals Award presented to her in Quebec City. I have received awards from David West, mayor of Richmond Hill, Daisy Wei, MPP of Richmond Hill, and Stephen Lecce, Ontario's Education Minister at the time. Within the project, we looked at marginalized groups in Canadian history. I collaborated with university professors, STEM minds, and the rest of my research team to develop a set of cards and a coding game called "Snapshots in Time".
