• Acted as the primary spokesperson for the association, representing its interests and positions in the community, government, and media
• Developed and implemented the association's strategic plan, aligning initiatives with long/term goals and mission
• Led the preparation and execution of the financial plan, ensuring the association operates sustainably within budgetary constraints while maximizing resources
• Expand international and national networking with organizations, industry associations, designers, and universities driving critical discussions and initiatives on sustainable production practices, circular economy, and fair labor standards
• Oversaw the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the in-house software development project
• Developed educational programs to raise awareness about ethical fashion, sustainability, and product quality
• Lead government defense in topics such as antidumping measures for imported denim and analyze the growing number of non-compliant products entering the country market, harming consumers, the environment, and fair competition
• Served as the main point of contact between the association and its Board of Directors, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on strategic initiatives
• Provided leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Achievements

• Under my leadership, the association received various recognitions as the following:
• Recognition for the constant fight against textile smuggling – POLFA (tax and customs police)
• Recognition as a key strategic ally of the textile Industry – Inexmoda (Colombian Fashion Institute)
• Recognition of the initiatives implemented by the association to members and the industry - Bogota´s Chamber of Commerce
• During my tenure I established key partnerships like the Ministry of Commerce, the POLFA (Tax and customs police), the UN Global Compact Network Colombia, important allies like Inexmoda, IILA (Instituto Italo-Latino Americano), SENA (The National Training Service), and the Chamber of Commerce
• I was president of the National Sectoral Committee of SENA (The National Training Service), representing the Industry in important topics such as human talent management, sustainability, and communication achieving agreements with the productive, governmental, and academic sectors

• Responsible for all the daily and strategic administration of the logistics, human resources, and foreign trade departments
• In charge of the software project planning and Scope Management

• Company Overview: Main Colombian group of fresh-cut flower growers
• Managed the communication between the growers and the multinational in the USA, to achieve the customer's requirements with excellent quality and consistency in the final product
