Objective

I am submitting this nomination package to show my interest in running for the position of Director of Region D. Throughout my career I have always taken the opportunity to promote the benefits of being a building official. I have been an active member in our Chapter my entire career and on the executive of the Chapter for the last 9 years, most recently as the Chair. During my time on the executive I've always promoted the benefits of attending and participating in the Chapter and showing an interest in joining the executive. To further my professional and personal growth I've successfully completed the OBOA's instructor training course and taught my first course. I'm excited about the opportunity that being on the OBOA's Board of Directors would present, if I were to be elected. To be able to work with the other Chapters and stakeholders in the Region, and throughout the province, to further increase our professionalism in the industry is of great interest to me. If I were to be elected to the Board of Directors I would be open to which ever role the Board saw fit to assign me.
