I am a dedicated nursing student ontrack to graduate May 1, 2024. My nursing philosophy is that health is a right, and every patient regardless of age, culture, race, sexuality, ability or income deserves health equity and care catered to them as an individual. I believe that every good healthcare worker should have a thorough understanding of the social determinants of health, and collaborate effectively through good communication and active listening to provide optimal care. It takes different people with diverse skill sets and personalities to ensure the best quality patient care. I want to make sure that every patient feels seen and heard, and believes that they are receiving the best care for them.
I have experience in child care, comfort care, and custodial duties prior to nursing school. I am an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude.
