9 Months- Working at the UPS Store often involved multitasking and handling various administrative tasks. This included answering phone calls, scheduling package pickups, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and using our computer system to track shipments and generate labels. Attention to detail was also essential to accurately record information, track a packages’ progress, and communicate effectively with customers regarding their shipments. Correctly filing mailbox holders’ information safely was also important. I had to ensure the customers’ privacy by keeping copied information locked away and send the right documents and papers to the post office.
Warehouse associate
3 Months- Some of the primary duties I had as a Preloader was to work quickly and accurately to load packages onto delivery vehicles within tight time constraints. This included sorting packages based on size, weight, and destination, as well as arranging them to maximize space utilization and minimize the risk of damage during transit. Collaborating with other co-workers and supervisors was my specialty in this job. I was able to create friendships with everyone and create a positive environment for my peers.
