Personal Support Worker ( Community Attendant)
Utilize personal cellphone for scheduling and documentation purposes.
Implement the plan of care for assigned clients.
Time management to ensure all clients on schedule are seen.
utilize proper body mechanics and transfer techniques in order to carry out safe work practices.
Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and undressing, toileting, general grooming, and ambulation.
Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to the client.
Perform delegated tasks as assigned by nursing designate
Adhere to all written policies and procedures of fairview seniors community to promote a safe environment for both the client and worker.
Replace staff absences as necessary
Report any changes or concerns with client to director or on-call designate.
work with other attendants to provide a full team approach.
