- I have been working at highland Creek Treatment Plant as an Alternate Rate Area Supervisor for the past two and a half years in this currently advertised position. I have 39 years of experience working in Wastewater processes, the last 28 years spent as a Class 4 Plant Technician.
- I deal regularly with Management, Engineering consultants, contractors and staff in planning and executing shutdowns and directing the daily operations at Highland Creek Treatment Plant. I am also involved with the implementation of the works management System, time keeping and training of new employees.
- I am a certified Joint Health and Safety Committee member at Highland Creek.
- From 1998 to 2009 I was a member of the Highland Creek Challenge team. Here I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership skills, troubleshooting processes, mechanical skills and Laboratory technology all of which is pertinent to this position.
- In 2014 I completed a three year Maintenance Management Professional course. This course taught me about being proactive with predictive and preventive maintenance and how to prevent breakdowns of Equipment.
