  • Performed nutrition assessments of a caseload of 4-6 patients per day with diverse diagnoses (i.e. cancer, malnutrition, pancreatitis, liver disease, HIV, kidney disease, DKA, infection, heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, wounds).
  • Identified nutrition-related problems, and used professional clinical judgement to create evidence-based nutrition interventions to meet individual nutrition goals and requirements.
  • Calculated energy and protein requirements to modify diets, provide supplements, or create tube feed regimes.
  • Utilized electronic medical record systems (EPR) proficiently to document patient interactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records, as well as CBORD to change diets, modify preferences and order supplements.

Food Management and Provision - Regional Distribution Facility (RDF)

  • Assisted in the management of food service operations, by performing a variety of projects and audits (i.e. staff budgeting, waste audits, temperature audits, operational audits, staff training), ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations while maintaining high-quality food standards.
