My first job, at the end of fourteen, was working at Cineplex, where already, I was given many responsibilities, which included being in charge of the cash register, cleaning the screening rooms and preparing and selling food. This first official experience working for a big company taught me about leadership, responsibility and team work. My second experience was working at the health food store Herb and Spice, where I quickly became manager of the produce section, after being a cashier and having the responsibility of the bulk section. This job allowed me to demonstrate my abilities as someone who was in charge of other employees, while also making the orders and filling in wherever was needed. I then moved, in 2023, to British Colombia, where I worked at a four star resort in Tofino, first in the kitchen, then taking care of the laundry and doing some housekeeping. This job taught me about time management; I was very much dedicated to accomplishing my task in an efficient manner. Finally, this last summer, I worked on a farm, helping with the gardens and maintenance of buildings, while also doing some construction work and landscaping. I have very much enjoyed every experience, which have allowed me to become polyvalent and versatile.
