Project/ Marketing Manager

Manitoulin Health Links (MHL)

  • Coordinated the 8 (4 Indigenous) partners of the Manitoulin Health Link who all had varying degrees of involvement, and all had different priorities in what they wanted to see as an outcome of this program for their health center
  • Developed project management skills including researching and writing skills like implementing and executing a plan, researching, and creating organizational assets and refining OPA’s for future use, as required of this role
  • Responsible for all marketing efforts of the initiative as well as created all advertising products for the project including raising awareness of the program and promoting it within the local area
  • Worked extensively with the four Indigenous Health Centers on Manitoulin, respecting their traditional ways of medicine, and working collaboratively with them to reach a shared goal
  • Worked collaboratively with the Northeast LHIN and the Manitoulin Health Link Steering Committee for the planning, executing and evaluation of the Manitoulin Health Link project in accordance with the MHL business plan, timelines, and budget for the 2017/18 fiscal year
  • Spent a large portion of time using PM tools to analyze and interpret data collected from the communities the project served
