SMC SIF-400 Industry 4.0 Smart Automation System - Master's Experience - 2023

  • Programmed a S7-1500 Siemens PLC to automate and industrial system which included automated container capping, filling, and packaging using Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Utilized Siemens TIA PLC portal & CODESYS to program the PLC (ladder logic programming) as well as design HMIs to 100% automate the manufacturing process.

Pyramid Building Robot - Capstone (UOH) - 2022

  • Programmed Baxter to build a pyramid-shaped structure using specific-colored blocks and avoid the other blocks without human intervention.
  • Utilized contour-based image segmentation on OpenCV and Cartesian path planning using MoveIT resulting in a 10% faster and more precise program than other students.
