To summarize I feel I would be a valuable asset to your team. I want to continue to expand my knowledge and work with horses.
I am responsible for the safety and well-being of all Equine clients attending the spa. This includes; Greeting clients when they arrive, prepare the horses for the spa: picking feet, washing legs, Tieing tails and appling the diaper to the horse. Many different types of horses come to the spa not all horses have experienced it before. I must handle all types of horses from various disciplines and I take the time necessary to insure the horse is comfortable with the process.
Other duties related to the spa include; maintain the spa unit, clean filters, ensure all levels of chemicals/salt/ water are kept at the optimum performance. As well I maintain the cleanliness of the entire spa facility. In addition to the water spa I also work with horses on the Equivibe, Solarium, Impulse Line Blanket and Equiciser.
The spa also provides rehab to horses for fitness and post surgical care. These duties included, administrating medications, dressing changes, working closely with Veterinarians and adhering to the action plan issued by the vet for the horses recovery, taking temperatures, being aware of any changes to the horses demeanor and reporting as necessary.
