Accomplishments

  • One of three super users in the implementation of the new GE Apex scanner. We worked collaboratively with our physicist and applications specialist to input over 150 protocols and help train fellow technologists.
  • Collaborated with another super user in the implementation of the GE Precision fluoroscopy rooms for GI/GU. With the help of the applications specialist, we put in all protocols, trained all technologists and radiologists in learning the new machine.
  • Successfully changed the process for contrast dilution in GI/GU, using the aseptic no touch technique to reduce the chance of needle injury.
  • Compiled data for the Head of Body Radiologist to lower the maximum amount of contrast for Pulmonary Embolism studies.
