PERSON DETECTION FROM CROWDED VIDEO IMAGES

  • Collaborated in a team of six (6) that focused on creating an algorithm for person detection from crowded video and images utilizing agile methodologies
  • Researched, designed, and analyzed the detection of persons using YOLO, the pose estimation of the detected person using Detectron2 and the recognition of the detected person using Python 3.8, Python Facial Recognition Library and Google Colab

IMPLEMENTER AND RESEARCHER, May 2021 – August 2021

AUTOMATED DOG FEEDER

  • Lead a team of six (6) that focused on creating a dog feeder application which utilized a weight sensor with a pet’s food bowl and Arduino to keep track of whether or not the pet has been fed at certain times of day
  • Designed the User Interface for the application in the Android Studio IDE
  • Collaborated in designing the application in the coding language Java and C++ and utilizing Arduino Studio IDE and Firebase.
