I am a highly motivated university student currently studying Geographic Information Systems at the University of Toronto, I am on track to graduate with an honours bachelors of science in April 2024. I am proficient in using GIS software and problem solving. Outside of school I am a signal operator in the Canadian Armed Forces, where I am responsible for providing reliable wired and wireless communications. Balancing both school and work as a reservist in the CAF has taught me how to be an efficient worker and to always maintain a positive outlook on challenges. Additionaly, I am fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English in both speaking and written text.
I joined the Canadian Armed Forces in February 2020 as a Signal Operator in the army reserve. Currently, I am responsible for the operation of various communications equipment which requires great attention to detail and problem solving skills. This experience has provided me with other skill sets that are beneficial in any work place, such as the ability to work with others under pressure while meeting strict deadlines. As a reservist, I am also an university student outside of the military which shows my commitment to both education and work.
